PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus improved in environmental resistance performance. SOLUTION: The opening of a front casing 2 is sealed by a pressure member 30, and the opening of the member 30 is sealed by a first lens 23. The inner diameter of an O-ring 34 used for sealing the front case 2 is made larger than the outer diameter of the lens 23 and the outer diameter thereof is made smaller than the inner diameter of the member 30. When the member 30 is screw-fitted, the O-ring 34 is compressed. Thus, a clearance formed by the edge portion of the lens 23 and the inner wall surface of the member 30 is sealed with the deformation of the O-ring 34 occurring when it is pressed.
