PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner which is suitably applied to a relatively soft plastic optical fiber connector. SOLUTION: The cleaner 10 comprises a cleaning sheet 13 made of one of an alumina lapping film, a diamond lapping film, a silica lapping film, and a cerium oxide lapping film, an elastic body 12 on which the cleaning sheet 13 is stuck, and a sheet receiving plate 11 to which the cleaning sheet 13 is fixed across the elastic body 12. The surface roughness (Ra) of the cleaning sheet 13 is 0.01 to 1μm and the hardness of the elastic body 12 is Hs10 to Hs100. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
