In a heat exchanger comprising a plurality of finned tubes 135, 136 extending between moulded header tanks 130, 131 wherein each tube is provided with internal turbulator members (141, Fig. 3), 143 for improving heat transfer, one or both of the header tanks are provided with partitions 151, 154 for preventing the internal members, which are freely arranged in the tubes, from being removed by the flow of heat transfer fluid through the tubes 1. The internal members comprise axially disposed plate members 143 having deflectors formed by tongues 144, 145 projecting outwardly from each side thereof and tube members (141, Fig. 3) having curved outwardly extending radial blades (142). The partitions 151, 154, which are integrally moulded with the header tank 150, Fig. 4, each have an edge (152, Fig. 5) which faces and extends across the mouth of a respective tube. Preferably the partitions are suitably inclined relative to each other so as to define a required fluid circulation path within the header tank.
