PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide device capable of keeping the stiffness high by securing the stiffness of its slider without raising the cost and also equipping it with a longer lifetime. SOLUTION: The linear guide device is arranged so that the ratio meets the condition Lwe/Dw=0.9-1.5, where Lwe and Dw are the effective length and the diameter, respectively, of each rolling element 18 formed in a cylindrical roller shape.
