PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process of a carbonized product in which the carbonized product is effectively produced in a short time with minimum operation processes using sewage sludge and to provide an apparatus for it. SOLUTION: This process for producing the carbonized product using sewage sludge comprises a storage step S1, in which recovered sewage sludge is stored; a constant-amount-discharging step S2, in which a constant amount of the stored sewage sludge is received and discharged; a drying step S3, in which high speed hot air is applied on the discharged sewage sludge for drying; a charging step S4, in which a constant amount of the dried material is charged to a dry distillation carbonizer; and a carbonization step S5, in which the charged dried material is carbonized and discharged as the carbonized product.
