METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANIC PIGMENT SUBJECTED TO ADSORPTION TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic pigment subjected to adsorption treatment with an organic colorant derivative or a triazine derivative and having excellent dispersion stability. SOLUTION: This organic pigment subjected to the adsorption treatment is produced by treating an organic pigment with an organic colorant derivative having an acidic functional group or a triazine derivative having an acidic functional group in water to attain an adsorption area corresponding to≥50% of the BET specific surface area of the organic pigment on the assumption that the adsorption site is the skeleton part of the organic colorant of the organic colorant derivative and attain the amount of unadsorbed organic colorant derivative or triazine derivative corresponding to≤0.005 g based on 1 g of the pigment.
