PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic good in feeling in use as a foam cosmetic or pack cosmetic. SOLUTION: The foaming cosmetic contains (1) xanthan gum and (2) quince seed extract. As a formulation of this cosmetic, an aerosol cosmetic extruding foam together with gas is preferable. This cosmetic is preferably a pack cosmetic. Owing to a combination of the above two ingredients(1) and (2), this cosmetic gives foam of high firm texture and stability, and such foam properties improve feeling in use of the cosmetic.
