PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption by quickly detecting an automobile stopping (parking) condition, and stopping a transmitting action in a monitoring system for detecting a tire pressure and the like of the automobile, transmitting it to a processing device wirelessly, and monitoring it. SOLUTION: A wireless transmitter 1, a tire pressure sensor, an inclination switch, and the like are mounted to a tire 4 of an automobile 3. When the tire pressure and the like detected by the sensor are transmitted to a receiver 2 installed to a driver's seat and the like via the wireless transmitter 1, and monitored by a a processing device (micro computer) and the like not shown, a stopping (parking) condition of the automobile 3 can be quickly detected from on- and off-actions of an inclination switch.
