PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an exchanging frequency of not only a supporting roll but a segment, and a repairing cost of a continuous caster, and to improve the working factor by extending the service life of divided rolls. SOLUTION: Two divided rolls mutually adjoined in a slab conveying direction, are made to be different divided positions in the barrel length direction. This continuous caster is obtained, with which the exchanging frequency of not only the support roll but the repairing cost thereof are reduced and the working factor is improved by extending the service life of the divided rolls.
