The invention relates to a microlaser component (1), which is characterised by high efficiency and an emission wavelength that can be selected practically without restriction. The component (1) contains a plurality of layered groups (I to VII), each comprising first layers (Ai) consisting of a laser-active material (preferably a dye) and second layers (Bi) consisting of a non-laser-active material. The component is produced e.g. using sacrificial layer technology in such a way that cavities (9) resulting from the etching of the sacrificial material are filled with a dye (11) that emits light in a selected wavelength range.
