The sunblind unit has an extending wind-up curtain (12) with drop rod (14) at the free end. Between the winding shaft and the drop rod is at least one wind support (22) which engages at least partly round the curtain (12) and is movable relative thereto where it is guided on tension cords (16) which run at the sides next to the curtain. The drop rod and wind support can be guided on the same tension cords. In a certain extended position the wind support can be supported against a stop (32).
