CATALYST FOR WATER GAS REACTION, METHOD FOR REDUCING CARBON MONOXIDE AND FUEL CELL POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for water gas reaction having excellent catalyst activity at low temperature and to provide a method for reducing carbon monoxide and a fuel cell generation system which uses the catalyst for water gas reaction.

SOLUTION: The catalyst for water gas reaction made by carrying a noble metal element on a composite metal oxide including anatase-type titanium dioxide and tungsten is used as a catalyst accelerating water gas reaction which produces hydrogen and carbon dioxide from water and carbon monoxide. Further, the catalyst for water gas reaction preferably contains vanadium and/or molybdenum of an element ratio to titanium 0.01-10%.
