<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for water gas reaction having excellent catalyst activity at low temperature and to provide a method for reducing carbon monoxide and a fuel cell generation system which uses the catalyst for water gas reaction. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst for water gas reaction made by carrying a noble metal element on a composite metal oxide including anatase-type titanium dioxide and tungsten is used as a catalyst accelerating water gas reaction which produces hydrogen and carbon dioxide from water and carbon monoxide.
