PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by compressing the number of parts of a driving system of a toner replenishing section, to reduce cost by compressing the number of parts of a mounting section of a toner container, to improve the safety of operation by facilitating the maintenance of the mounting section, and to make it possible to process the combination of the toner containers of diversified kinds of image forming devices without confusion in a manufacturing process, etc.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus which is provided with a plurality of ribs parallel to a revolving shaft at the cylindrical toner container and has an acceptance port to be inserted with the cylindrical toner container is provided with engaging members corresponding to the plurality of the ribs disposed at the toner container in the acceptance port.
