<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device capable of correcting a computing result of a traveling distance, and accurately carrying out tip/tail end tracking. <P>SOLUTION: The processing device is attached to a carrying table of rolling facilities, and carries out tracking of a tip/tail end of carried material by calculating a traveling distance of the carried material based on a signal from a pulse generator generating a pulse signal according to rotations of a roll on the carrying table. The roll diameter of the carrying table is corrected by a roll diameter table about each width according to plate width information of the carrying material. Sliding amount of the traveling distance per unit time is corrected based on a sliding correction coefficient by a acceleration/deceleration rate of the carrying table and the carried material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
