PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the magnetic characteristic of a stator core for a rotating machine manufactured by helical processing using sheet steel plate without causing both of cost increases and performance degradation of an insulation film. SOLUTION: This stator core for the rotating machine is manufactured by helical processing using sheet steel plate. Average residual tensile stress in its circumferential direction is 0.5 to 10 kgf/mm2(4.9 to 98 MPa). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
