PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reducing a time period necessary for a printing operation in the printing using an improvement ink for improving quality of a printed material. SOLUTION: This printing control device forms print data to be supplied to a printing section in order to perform the printing capable of forming a dot by ejecting a colored ink and the improvement ink for improving quality of a printed material on a print medium. The printing control device has a color conversion section for converting a pixel value indicating a color of each pixel of given image data to a gradation value of each ink for representing the color of the pixel by using at least one of the colored ink and the improvement ink. The color conversion section determines whether or not the pixel value is a specific value corresponding to a white pixel whereby a colored dot is not formed.
