PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of equipment, reduce the required installation area thereof, and shorten a tact time in inspecting and correcting operations. SOLUTION: A device for inspecting and correcting a flat plate work comprises a defect inspecting device 2 to transfer the flat plate work W on an inspection table 7 to the y-axis direction y and to detect the defect with a detection camera and a defect correcting device 3 to transfer the flat plate work W with a defect part placed on a correction table and a work head respectively to the x-axis direction and to the y-axis direction y and to work and correct the defect part of the flat plate work W. Furthermore, the device for inspecting and correcting the flat plate work is constructed by arranging a conveying device 4, which disposes the defect correcting device 3 on the upper side of the defect inspecting device 2, carries out the inspected flat plate work W from the inspection table 7 of the defect inspecting device 2, carries in the flat plate work W with the defect part to the correction table of the defect correcting device 3 and carries out the worked and corrected flat plate work W from the correction table, on the downstream side of a conveying direction Y of the flat plate work W in relation to the defect inspecting device 2.
