PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure holding device of a door capable of holding so as not to open the door with wind pressure or the like in a closing position without using the usual latch device operated by a handle. SOLUTION: A strike (6) is provided to the upper end face of the door (1), and a body (8) is provided to a head of a door frame opposed to the strike (6) of the door (1) in a closing position. A stop roller (5) is provided to the body (8) in a state capable of being protruded/retracted from/into the body, and the stop roller (5) is always energized in the projected direction by a spring. An interlocking groove (7) having an approximately U-shaped section to be fitted with the stop roller (5) in the closing position is provided to the strike (6). When the door (1) is opened, the wall surface of the interlocking groove (7) coming into contact with the roller (5) is formed in an inclined plane (56). In order to open the door (1), the door can not be opened unless the door is turned by a force larger than a force pushing up the roller (5) by the inclined plane (56). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
