PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost garbage treatment machine made less prone to rust by performing desulfurization treatment in a front stage so as not to form an acid component produced in an exhaust gas of an oxidizing catalyst in a very small amount. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment machine is equipped with a garbage housing part 22 for housing garbage, a heating means 24 for heating the garbage, an discharge means 34 for discharging air in the garbage housing part 22 from the garbage housing part 22, a deodorizing means 30 for deodorizing the exhaust gas discharged from the garbage housing part 22 and a desulfurizing means 37 for performing the desulfurization of the exhaust gas. This garbage treatment machine is made less prone to cause corrosion of machineries by the desulfurization of a very small amount of a sulfur component in the exhaust gas and low in cost.
