<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mode transition control device of a hybrid car capable of suppressing the occurrence frequency of the driving force shock by avoiding frequent mode transitions between a second steady-state mode and a third steady-state mode while smoothly performing mode transitions from a first steady-state mode to the third steady-state mode with excellent response. <P>SOLUTION: In the mode transition control device of a hybrid car, a mode selection means selects the steady-state mode to which steady-state mode area the vehicle driving point to be determined by the detected vehicle speed value and the calculated target driving force value belongs on a steady-state mode area map. A mode transition condition means performs the mode transition in the order of the first steady-state mode → second steady-state mode → third steady-state mode when the selection is changed from the first steady-state mode to the second steady-state mode, or when the selection is changed from the first steady-state mode to the third steady-state mode, and prohibits the mode transition from the third steady-state mode to the second steady-state mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
