<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell which can improve efficiency of power generation by making uniform the temperature distribution in a fuel cell stack utilizing cooling action due to endothermic reaction in the reforming while efficiently utilizing heat generation in power generation as a heat source for vapor reforming reaction. <P>SOLUTION: In the solid oxide fuel cell, the fuel cell stack 3 is composed by stacking a power generation cell 7 and a separator 10 alternately, and power generating reaction is generated by supplying fuel gas and oxidizer gas inside the fuel cell stack 3.
