<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auction system for properly selling used automobiles at auction. <P>SOLUTION: A member terminal 2 transmits tender information including a tender sum to an auction host 11. When the tender sum in the transmitted tender information is largely different from the current auction value managed by the auction host 11, the auction host 11 abandons the received tender information as it is. That is, when tender information SJ2 including the tender sum within an allowable range is transmitted from the member terminal 2 through a line whose communication delay is large, the auction host 11 validates the tender information SJ2, and bids up the auction value only for a specified sum as shown by (a). On the other hand, when tender information SJ3 including a tender sum beyond the allowable range is transmitted from the member terminal 2 through the line whose communication delay is large, the auction host 11 abandons the tender information SJ3 as it is as shown by (b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
