<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a process for determining a product type to be reduced from a product group which needs to be prepared in various types for satisfying various demands. <P>SOLUTION: A DB 70 for storing an evaluation value which a consumer provides for an attribution and a level which are used as product selection factors by the consumer, a DB 72 for storing the level of each attribution of a plurality of product types in competition, a DB 74 for storing a part group necessary for the type of a product for each relevant product type, a DB 76 for storing data necessary for calculating a cost for manufacturing and selling the competing product group for each relevant product type, a means 78 for calculating a product cost, a means 84 for calculating the cost of a competing product group, a means 80 for estimating and calculating the number of sellings for each competing product group, a means 86 for calculating a profit obtained from the relevant competing product group by reducing the initial cost of the relevant competing product group from the total sum of the relevant competing product group sales and a means 79 for specifying a product type to be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
