<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remind a driver to notice the presence of an obstacle in a peripheral lighting for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The peripheral lighting device for a vehicle is equipped with an auxiliary lamp 30 for illuminating the light in the vehicular peripheral range except the light illuminating range by head lamp 10a, 10b illuminating the light in the vehicular peripheral range, and a CCD camera 20 for detecting the obstacle within the light illuminating range by the auxiliary lamp 30. When a detection means detects the obstacle within the light illuminating range by the auxiliary lamp 30, a micro computer 40 lights the auxiliary lamp 30 and matches the light illuminating direction of the auxiliary lamp 30 to the obstacle by rotating an electric motor 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
