PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic cooling device 20 that uses one and the same refrigerator 4 to cool a superconducting coil 1 and a containment vessel 2 for containing samples. SOLUTION: The device has a bus bar 19 that arranges a samples containment vessel 2 in the inner diameter part of a cylinder-shaped superconducting coil 1 to which a refrigerator 4 is directly connected, and thermally connects the containment vessel 2 and the superconducting coil 1. The containment vessel 2 has a hollow part 6 formed between the containment vessel 2 and a samples vessel 5 by arranging the samples vessel 5 inside the containment vessel 2 with a certain space provided around it, the hollow part is filled with helium gas so that heat exchange may be done between the samples vessel 5 and the containment vessel 2, and the helium gas is discharged from the hollow part 6 to intercept the heat exchange.
