摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly determine a situation presently met by its own vehicle. SOLUTION: A present location acquisition section 23 acquires the present location of the its own vehicle from a GPS 1. A map information acquisition section 24 acquires map information on the neighborhood of the location of the its own vehicle from the GPS 1. A transmission section 21 prepares a spreading code based on the present location acquired by the present location acquisition section 23 and transmits a spectrum-spread signal wave, by using the prepared spreading code, from an antenna 3. Meanwhile, a signal wave from another vehicle is received through the antenna 4. A reception section 22 obtains a spreading code for reversely spreading the received signal wave and transmits information on the other vehicle indicated by the reverse spreading code to a situation judgment section 25. The situation judgment section 25 judges the situation presently met by the its own vehicle based on the information on the other vehicle and the map information on the location and vicinity of the its own vehicle and implements warning or control processing depending on the judgment result.
