PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED display unit with good reliability by preventing dust and dirt from entering a circuit board through the gap between a light emitting diode and an opening part of a mask member. SOLUTION: The LED display unit has a circuit board where a plurality of light emitting diodes are arrayed at desired positions and a mask member which is arranged nearly in parallel to the circuit board and has opening parts that light emitting diodes engage at positions corresponding to the light emitting diodes, and the mask member has a plurality of fine projection parts on the flanks of the opening parts.
