PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher for rocks and the like which has a wide power range, is easily maintained, is excellent in safety, and is highly efficient. SOLUTION: Guides which are not lifted upwards are disposed on both sides of the upper surface of a table and both ends of a polygonal rod are fastened to two lines of short link chains in such a manner that the rod can be moved on the upper surface of the table. The chains are connected with two wheels under the table and one of them is connected with a motor for driving. The polygonal rod sends an object to be crushed on the table up to the lower part of a rotor and supports the same. A rigid thick plate which is durable for repulsive force of the crushing is laid on the lower part of the rotor. The crushing is performed by a hammer fixed on the outer periphery of the rotating rotor. The hammer being a consumable has a long rod shape and is constituted so that, when the tip is worn, it is successively extruded and can be used. The hammer is firmly fixed on the rotor by a wedge and a tension bolt. When the rotor becomes overloaded, an object to be crushed sending mechanism is stopped, thereafter, is reversed by a prescribed distance and is forwardly operated again. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
