PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a shopping basket capable of preventing commodities from getting crushed, effectively using a storage space, and further reducing the trouble of putting in/out the commodities. SOLUTION: The shopping basket comprises a basket body 2 having a storing part 8, and an upper-stage storing body 11 having an upper-stage storing part 18 smaller and shallower than the storing part 8. The upper-stage storing body 11 is movably held between an occupied position where the upper part of the storing part 8 is occupied by the upper-stage storing part 18 and a sidewall 16 of the upper-stage storing body 11 constitutes a sidewall of the basket body 2 and an open position where the storing part 8 is opened.
