COOLANT TREATMENT DEVICE OF MACHINE TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant treatment device of a machine tool which is highly efficient in collecting chips and has a small quantity of coolant to be thrown away together with the chips. SOLUTION: The chips and the coolant dropped from a chip discharger 1 of the machine tool are received by a dirty tank 3, a scraper conveyer 5 is cyclically driven at as low speed as possible by a motor 15 in the tank 3, and the chips are scraped up for throwing away from a chip discharging port 7. A drum filter 21 is provided in an internal space of the scraper conveyer 5 and is independently driven to rotate by a chain 23 and a motor 25 separate from the conveyer 5.
