PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoloration method and apparatus for a colored liquid, more specifically a method and apparatus for environmental pollution control, such as water pollution control of decoloring the colored waste water generated from an ink production process and decomposing the remaining organic compounds. SOLUTION: The colored liquid is decolored by the decoloration apparatus which has a plurality of treatment stages each consisting of a pair of electrodes and a water tank and connects the respective treatment stages by transfer means.
