PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a digital signal transmission system to transmit information with a modulation technique suitable for each carrier but with a simple circuit arrangement. SOLUTION: A serial transmission modulation technique that translates input serial transmission data input based on the transmission rate of a corresponding modulation technique into the parallel data of bit width corresponding to the modulation technique with every carrier. Therefore, it allows the symbol rate of serial transmission data corresponding to two or more conversion means to be reconciled and information can be transmitted with the conversion means for every carrier.
