PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an instantaneous and sure protection function with respect to a fault and abnormality of a circuit block of a power amplifier which is directly connected to battery output, and to maintain stability and safety of a mobile portable terminal by using an existing battery protection circuit. SOLUTION: Power current is supplied from a battery 107 having a battery protection circuit 107a to a power amplifier 102 through an FET 1109a. A voltage monitoring part 108a monitors the power amplifier 102. A determination part 108b sets the FET 1109a in an on-state to an off-state when a monitoring result is abnormal in a transmission state, interrupts power to the power amplifier 102 by setting an FET 2109b in the on-state, shortens the output of the battery, makes a large current flow, operates the protection circuit 107a, and interrupts output current of the battery 107.
