PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-noise cable torsion stop structure for surely preventing the torsion of a cable and applicable to the cable of analog equipment. SOLUTION: The structure has a rod-like electrode terminal 5 to which the end of one cable is coupled and a terminal-receiving part 12 to which the end of the other cable is coupled and with which the terminal 5 is rotatably engaged. The part 12 includes electrical contact members 17a, 17b and 17c contacting or getting close to the terminal 5. Conductive members 18a, 18b and 18c having lubricating and viscous properties are disposed in the vicinity of a part at which the terminal 5 and the members 17a, 17b and 17c are contacted or between the terminal 5 and the members 17a, 17b and 17c.
