PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing yarn diagonally crossed nonwoven fabric that is capable of producing the yarn diagonally crossed nonwoven fabric of high density and high quality, and can economize the cost of the apparatus with productivity increased. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, the yarn diagonally crossed body is produced by providing a conveyer equipped with a plurality of threading pins that are arranged on the left and right sides at a prescribed pitch in the travelling direction and the yarns from individual yarn-feeding small tubes on the yarn feeding guide traversing left and right on the conveyer, then they are alternately caught by left and right threading pins whereby the yarn diagonally crossed body is formed. At this time, the individual yarn-feeding small tubes on the yarn-feeding guides traverse the upper part higher than the individual threading pins, then individual yarns fed from the yarn-feeding small tubes are each pressed down with the pressing guide on the inner side of the left and right threading pins and is caught by the threading pins for the crossing.
