PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve the resistance to flexural fatigue of a rubber composition without lowering the adhesiveness to a metal. SOLUTION: A rubber composition comprises 100 pts.wt. sulfur-vulcanizable rubber, sulfur, and 0.01-0.30 pt.wt. zirconium (Zr) acetylacetonate (in terms of a zirconium element).
