PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain any increase in size of the apparatus body and also move a paper delivery tray in the direction intersecting perpendicularly to the paper transport direction without a new driving source by using the turning force of a driving source provided on the apparatus body. SOLUTION: A paper delivery tray driving gear 52a always meshing with a transmission gear 52b is fixed to one co-axial end of a driving screw 51 engaged with the paper delivery tray 42, and the paper delivery tray driving gear 52a and the transmission gear 52b are journaled by a connecting arm 61. A plunger 63 is loosely fitted to the connecting arm 61, and a solenoid 62 rocks the connecting arm 61 on the driving screw 51 by use of the plunger 63. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
