PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with an automatic document feeder for preventing variation in jitter or color deviation, by keeping constant a gap with a conveyance route shape near a scooping guide despite of mounting accuracy of an ADF. SOLUTION: In the image forming device, a sheet-through-type image reading section formed of a fixed reading means and the automatic document feeder A has reading glass 54, a guide plate 42a facing the reading glass 54, and a scooping guide 63 having an inclined section 63b for scooping the tip of the document on the downstream side of the reading glass 54.
