System comprises a number of field units (F1-Fn) for real-time measurements of flows in the water supply network, data memories (4, 6) and a capture unit (3) for spatially resolved capture or real-time measurements from the field units. A processing unit (2) has a number of software tools (W1-Wq) for processing the captured data in conjunction with stored historical data. An integration unit manages the different units. An independent claim is made for a method for managing, monitoring and regulating water losses in a water supply network.
