A gear formed of a blended polymer of PA66 and PA6 containing a portion having PA66 molecular structure and a portion having PA6 molecular structure at a weight ratio PA66/PA6 of 99.9/0.1 to 95.0/5.0 or a copolymer and having excellent durability, heat resistance, and dimensional stability. A speed reducer using the gear can be used under high torque and reduced in size without increasing the torque due to the dimensional change of the gear. An electric power steering device in which the speed reducer is assembled can be used for large-sized vehicles and can also be reduced in size.
