LIGHTING FIXTURE AND INSECT-CATCHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture and an insect-catching device capable of restraining the degradation of a case and damage to a semiconductor light-emitting element, while making them more compact.

SOLUTION: The lighting fixture 1 has a case 2 with its front face open and its rear face closed. A base plate 7 with LEDs 14 mounted is contained in the case 2. The LED 14 is provided with an LED chip 14b with a peak light-emitting wavelength existing within a range of around 300 nm to 450 nm, and a package 14c or the like is structured so that a light distribution angle is narrow. Further, the LEDs 14 are arranged at positions so that light emitted from the LEDs 14 is not irradiated on a part of the case 2.
