VOTING SYSTEM AND VOTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of a server and to shorten a tally processing time.

SOLUTION: As an IP address reporting means, for example, a DNS system 5 connected to an IP network 4 is used to perform a 1:1 conversion of URL and destination IP address. An IP packet measuring means is connected to the IP network 4 having a voting terminal 21 to measure an IP packet which arrives at a destination IP address. Therefore, destination IP packets corresponding to a signle URL can be counted. According to this, voting requests from a number of IP terminals can be processed without using a WWW server to count the voting number.
