<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing a cut ear, effective for promoting the formation of an adventitious root from the cut ear to improve the rooting ratio of even a plant difficult to achieve the rooting. <P>SOLUTION: The adventitious root of the cut ear is formed in the culture of the cut ear in a medium and/or culture soil by applying a negative voltage to the cut ear at least at the part contacting with the medium and/or culture soil. For example, a negative electrode composed of a conductive material such as iron, copper, platinum and carbon and connected to a voltage application device through an output transmitting means is thrust into a solid medium thrust with the cut ear or a culture soil moistened with water, commercially available liquid manure or a liquid medium, and a negative voltage is applied to the medium, or the like, with the negative electrode to effect the culture of the cut ear. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
