<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet adjustment apparatus capable of controlling a transmission interval of each packet via each path to be a prescribed value at all times. <P>SOLUTION: The packet adjustment apparatus (10) includes a reception time measurement means 17 for measuring a reception time of each packet 8 sequentially received from each of paths 4a to 4c; a plurality of packet buffers 14a to 14c for storing respective packets by each path; a plurality of buffer control sections 12a to 12c for delaying the packets stored in the packet buffers by a designated delay time Td from the reception time to output the result to a receiver side apparatus; a reception time difference calculation means 18 for calculating a reception time difference between temporally adjacent packets from each measured reception time; and a delay time calculation section 19 for calculating the delay time from the packet reception time by each path wherein an output time interval of each packet over the entire paths sequentially outputted to the receiver side apparatus 5 is a specified value and designating the delay time to the buffer control section of the corresponding path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
