<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire the information of merchandise by using an information terminal such as a portable telephone and to easily order merchandise. <P>SOLUTION: The merchandise master file of a management device 5 stores a bar code attached to merchandise to identify the merchandise and a merchandise catalog code corresponding to a common merchandise code shown by the bar code and merchandise price information. The merchandise usage master file of the management device 5 stores merchandise usage information corresponding to the merchandise catalog code, and when the common merchandise code inputted to a browser of a portable telephone 3, and transmitted to the management device 5 is stored in the merchandise master file, the management device 5 extracts the merchandise catalog code corresponding to the common merchandise code and the merchandise price information from the above merchandise master file.
