<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable users to operate referring to a pop-up guide in an environment in which control is not returned to an application until the pop-up guide is closed. <P>SOLUTION: The copies of screens when a pop-up guide is displayed and the pop-up guide is closed are acquired, and then the difference between only the pop-up guide areas is extracted. The acquired and extracted image is displayed on an auxiliary display that is different from an operation screen of an application, or newly displayed as an window independent from an operation window of an application.
