PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor where the quantity of the data held in a first storage part is reduced and to provide an image processing method for suppressing the number of evaluation test times to the minimum. SOLUTION: In the image processor, a reference sensibility information database 1 stores a sensibility adjusting value based on sensibility of a standard person with respect to a plurality of sensibility words and a color adjusting parameter corresponding to the sensibility adjusting value. A sensibility information setting part 2 sets color adjustment that a user desires with respect to an image to be processed based on the sensibility of the user. A sensibility information conversion part 3 calculates the sensibility adjusting value of the sensibility word which is set based on the sensibility of the user from the sensibility adjusting value based on the sensibility of the standard person. An individual sensibility information deviation storage part 4 stores the calculated result. An image processing parameter derivation part 5 selects the prescribed color adjusting parameter from the reference sensibility information database 1 based on the calculation result.
