PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head phone device of which usability can be improved by reducing entangling of a cord of a headphone at a non-using time, and to provide a remote controller for the headphone device. SOLUTION: The head phone device 1 includes a reproducer 2 for reproducing a voice recorded in a recording medium by containing the recording medium, the remote controller 10 connected to the reproducer 2 to remotely operate the reproducer 2, and the headphone 20 connected to the remote controller 10. The remote controller 10 has a clip 12 for mounting on clothing, etc., and arch-like threading parts 13, 14 for threading the cord 20a of the headphone 20 to position the cord 20a of the headphone 20 to enable the cord 20a of the headphone 20 to be pushed and stopped by the clip 12.
