PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and foldable patient carrying device quickly and easily isolating and carrying a patient having an infectious disease. SOLUTION: This patient carrying device 1 comprises a vinyl sheet body part, builtup supports and a ventilation unit, end walls 3 and 4 internally installed with support frames in the circumferential edge portions are extended from the short sides of a bed part 2 of the body part, a ceiling part 9 formed with support insertion parts 12, 13 and 14 and side wall parts provided with operation openings 15 are extended from the long sides, and a fastener is attached to the outer circumferential portion of the body part. This patient carrying device is thus compactly folded and is lightweight so that a large amount of them can be stored in case of emergency, can be transported, quickly assembled at a site and carry the patient while suppressing the leakage of polluted air to the minimum.
