PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the refrigerant passing noise generated in switching a valve to an opened state in the opening and closing valve mounted in a refrigerant circuit for opening and shutting the flow of a refrigerant. SOLUTION: In the opening and closing valves 21-24 mounted in the refrigerant circuit for circulating the refrigerant to open and shut the flow of the refrigerant, the opening and closing valve constitutes a solenoid valve with a plunger 76 integrated with a valve element 77 and a solenoid 75 for driving the plunger, and is temporarily kept at its intermediate opening having the refrigerant passing amount smaller than that in a fully-opened state, during the switching from the fully-closed state to the fully-opened state on the basis of the magnitude of the electric current flowing in the solenoid.
